How to Join a Zoom meeting on a PC, Mac or Linux Device Without a Zoom Account
(The Zoom app is free to use as a guest so you do not need an account in order to attend)
We do however highly recommend that you download the Zoom app appropriate to your device in advance of the meeting you wish to go to by going to their Downloads Page
Select the meeting you wish to attend from our Meetings List and click the link.
This will open Zoom on your device,
Click “Launch Meeting”
You will be asked to enter a name*.
*It is of course individual choice but we would recommend that as we are meetings of Narcotics Anonymous that you may wish to simply put your first name and initial in order to protect your anonymity and in keeping with our Traditions..
Select and click on “Join Meeting” and you will be automatically brought into the room.
Once the meeting is open on your device select “Join with Computer Audio”
Microphones are automatically muted on entry so please don’t change those settings unless you wish to read when the meeting host asks for volenteres or you wish to share once the meeting has started and the host has indicated that the meeting in now open for sharing.
All HIGNA meetings are in audio only and the Video option is disabled so you will be unable to turn it on.
